Porvoo, Finland – November 28, 2024 – Sovellusmestarit Oy, a specialist in compressed air, instrumentation, and flow technology, has acquired 100% of MoveRoll Oy, a pioneer in innovative roll-handling equipment. This acquisition reunites two companies with a shared history and solidifies their collaboration under the Dacke Industri group.

Since its inception, MoveRoll has worked closely with Sovellusmestarit, which has served as its primary supplier and manufacturing partner. This strategic relationship allowed MoveRoll to revolutionize roll handling with unique solutions like its horizontal conveyors, zero-energy receivers, turntable and braking pads. These products use patented compressed air technology to gently transport and manage rolls in paper mills and other industries, prioritizing safety, energy efficiency, and operational simplicity.

Pimatic, a subsidiary of Dacke Industri AB, has, by the 30th of December completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Sovellusmestarit Oy. The intention with the acquisition is to continue the exciting journey that Sovellusmestarit has started and with a clear ambition to further grow the business together. The acquisition is completely in line with Pimatic and Dacke Industri's ambition to grow with companies that focus on their own products as well as customized components and systems.

In 2008, Mikko Rantanen founded Sovellusmestarit Oy after having worked almost 20 years in various functions in the fields of pneumatics and instrumentation. Sovellusmestarit Oy and IMI Norgren have signed a cooperation agreement covering the distribution and storage of Norgren pneumatic products in Finland starting on January 1, 2020.

Sovellusmestarit Oy is investing significantly in its new warehouse in Finland that serves its end customers, machine builders and local distributors.

From January 1, Sovellusmestarit Oy has hired Pasi Koskinen as the new Sales Manager and since February 1^st Leo Lemmetyinen as the new Product Manager for Norgren products. Both Pasi and Leo have a solid Norgren background and over 25 years of technical sales experience.
